The blue Lodge wasn't blue at all
The following series are a corporation between Iris Jans and Daisy Kroon.
Iris Jans took some summer 2011 pieces from the Blue Lodge collection and photographed herself in a forest environment.

Iris Jans finds it interesting to explore the border between art and fashion within the series. She creates images where the clothing is just as important as herself, a tree and the whole surrounding. Iris photographs herself and therefore she can only feel the clothing and captures herself in different angles. She highlights the different perspectives to converge them eventually and create new realities for herself.
Iris is always looking for empty spaces to work. "I have difficulties to relate myself to gigantic crowds". This creates the tranquility she needs to explore the relationship between person and surrounding. Iris makes herself blend in, or even get absorbed. "I want to hide and conceal. Everything arounds me disappears and I escape from reality." The whole area and Iris are as one as a matter of course.
